Since SHEKINAH’s conception as a sound system ministry in 1996, the ministry has continuously pursued excellence in all that they do, having pioneered a move of GOSPEL sound systems in the UK and abroad. Despite early opposition from some church leaders, Shekinah continued in their calling, using music to reach out to the wider community and the world.

As a sound system, Shekinah has been privileged to play alongside some of the world’s top gospel artists like Kirk Franklin, Stitchie, Mary Mary, and Chevelle Franklyn, to name a few. They have also played GOSPEL music with top secular sound systems like StoneLove (JA) and Luv Injection (UK), taking Gospel Reggae to a new level.

Following regular appearances on BBC 1Xtra, CrossRhythms (pioneering Christian radio), and London-based G Force Radio, among others, Shekinah launched their own “MID-WEEK BLESSING SHOW,” playing the latest and best in Urban Gospel Music. This show is now syndicated worldwide.

Shekinah aims to promote JESUS CHRIST at every opportunity through contemporary Christian music.
